Every production starts with a group of strangers, well, this is Brisbane so strangers is probably a stretch, walking into an audition room. A few weeks later, they’re a cast. A few months after that, they’ve created something unforgettable.

This is where that journey begins.

We’re thrilled you’re considering auditioning for Nerdy Prudes Must Die. We’re searching for performers who are generous collaborators, fearless storytellers, and ready to throw themselves into one of Starkid’s funniest and most ambitious musicals.

We can’t wait to see what you bring to the room!

We are also looking for people to help with everything that goes into producing a musical, from sets and costumes to lighting, sound and everything in-between. If you’re not a ‘on stage’ kind of person, make sure you contact us – we’d love to have you on board!

FAQ’s

What age rage are you looking for?

The majority of characters in Nerdy Prudes Must Die are 16-17, but some roles require portrayal of adult characters as well. If you think you could pass for a teenage on US television, we’d love to hear from you.

What should we submit?

We want to see your best performances. Submit showreels, concert footage, performance footage. You don’t need to self tape for us. But if you do, amazing. Fly high Night Hawks.

When are registrations closing?

We haven’t set a current date. As our face to face auditions are in September we are accepting submissions until the end of August.
