Who we are

Midnight Social creates works that push the boundaries of contemporary performance. We blend text-based theatre with striking visual design to produce bold, dynamic live experiences that challenge, provoke, and resonate. Known for our evocative and unconventional style, AMS is driven by a commitment to politically and artistically charged storytelling that reflects on the urgent themes shaping twenty-first century life.

We bring emerging and established artists together to explore our shared humanity through performance. We champion new writing and reinterpret exisiting works with a focus on stories that confront marginalisation and amplify underrepresented voices. At the heart of everything we do is a passion for making important, thought-provoking theatre that inspires dialogue and drives change.

We are proudly based in Brisbane, and we’re committed to giving back to the creative community that shaped us. We are goingt to be offering workshops, social events, and mentorship opportunities to support local artists and theatre-makers.

Additionally, 10% of all ticket sales from every production is donated to a local charity or organisation, helping to support our community in times of need. We value courage, collaboration, inclusivity, boldness, creativity, and respect and we strive to build a vibrant, welcoming space for artists and audiences alike.
